Other than this OMV has been rock solid and done everything I've asked of it very impressed so far. If you've not already guessed I'm fairly new to all this, the ability to run LMS was one of the driving factors for selecting OMV. In essence it looks like I need to enter the following: latest_lms=$ etc and I just return to ">" prompt. But LMS is a good program and has a lot of interesting plugins. Logitech Media Server is a streaming audio server supported by Logitech (formerly Slim Devices), developed in particular to support their Squeezebox range. Also the upsampling and ability to work with DRC of JRiver are superior. I use JRiver mainly because of the user programmable smartlists function - there isnt anything comparable in LMS. I've seen the following information on the slim devices site ( ) about how to install Logitech Media Server on Debian but it doesn't appear to work (enter the first line e.g. Orange Squeeze is also quite a good app for Android. Not sure if anyone can help but It looks like repo stable main is no longer available.
